1. QUESTION:
WHAT MAKES THE STEELEBOXER TRAINING SYSTEM BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SYSTEM?
ANSWER:
The key word is "system". SteeleBoxer is not a particular style of training, but rather a system that combines all of the proven training routines of every martial art in its purest form be it boxing/kickboxing,
Tae kwan do, etc. By drawing from all of the '1bestt1 moves in their purest form you end up with a method that fits your personal, particular body type and needs rather than forcing you into a structured assembly line routine.
2. QUESTION:
WHY SHOULD I TRAIN ON A PRIVATE PERSONAL LEVEL RATHER
THAN IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE A HIGH ENERGY GROUP TRAINING
SET-UP SUCH AS AN AEROBICS CLASS?
ANSWER:
The negative part of being in a group is that unless you know the moves, can keep up and are willing to be in the
front row you can get lost in the group, wind up in the back row and lose the group energy and momentum that this type of class feeds
on. Also, group training borderlines on "just moving" or "jumping up and down" rather than really learning or under-standing what you are doing. Training privately you are gaining confidence by having someone properly explaining to you all of the moves so you really understand what you are doing and therefore, get 100% benefit out of every routine. Over the years we have found that most of the back row people in the group classes are just as good as the top people in the front row after gaining confidence and knowing the routines.
3. QUESTION:
I NOTICE IN YOUR VIDEO SERIES THAT THERE IS NO "JUMPING UP
AND DOWN" WHICH IS USUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH BOXING/KICK-
BOXING AEROBICS? WILL I GET A GOOD WORKOUT WITHOUT THIS
TYPE OF MOVEMENT?
ANSWER:
There is a general misconception about how you gain muscle and lose weight. Jumping up and down aside from being harmful to your body if you are overweight and out of shape is not the way to accomplish this. No matter now many calories you can burn in one hour of a routine whether it be 600 to 900 calories which equals a glass of milk and a sandwich, by isolating the different muscle groups and by doing the techniques properly in a controlled manner through private training and then having the combinations built into dance like choreographed routines, you work specific muscle groups which build and refine the body from the inside out which regular aerobics and weight training does not accomplish. This creates the intensity of an aerobic workout without the necessity of having to jump up and down. You then get 100% benefit when you do each and every move.

WHAT BENEFIT IS THEIR IN PROGRESSIVE LEARNING IF I JUST WANT TO GET IN SHAPE?
ANSWER:
The four videos are designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced in each tape. So they contain 12 progressive levels of learning. CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME EXAMPLES OF RESULTS?
ANSWER:
First and foremost, if I could talk the talk and not walk the walk I would be a hypocrite and con artist all these years. It is a con-learning and refining. This SteeleBoxer training system is the only workout that has gotten me down to a size 4 from a size
12-14. A number I thought was not possible.
One of our clients is a 57 year old lady who has trained her entire life following every different system and taking every supplement that is this year's fad. In four months at SteeleBoxer she dropped approximately 20 pounds. She came into the gym all pumped and buffed up with what appeared to be a man's type body with big muscular legs. She accomplished this look after having been instructed by her most recent trainers to use heavy weights in order to build muscle, burn fat and be strong. Obviously, not the correct advice for her. Chris Steele was the first to bring the one-on-one boxing/kickboxing training into the general public many years ago. Everyone else since then has just joined the bandwagon and changed it into group aerobics with some basic boxing/kick-moves thrown in to make it look like boxing. The SteeleBoxing system is still true to form and has kept the one-on-one, training with personalized instruction to accomplish learning as well as a fabulous workout. WHAT ABOUT SUPPLEMENTS?
ANSWER:
Over the last decade every year there is a new diet and new supplement on the market with someone cashing in on it. These are usually in one year and out the next with misleading claims. As our video states there is no magic or mystery to losing weight and keeping it off. As far as the claims of the supplements they all break down to two types:
1. One speeds up your system chemically or naturally so its like having a dozen cups of coffee with hopes that it will burn off fat and the end result is that you burn out, and crash from being wired.
2. The other is in the form of a laxative with the idea that if you can't control your eating, it will pass through you and doesn't remain in your body to turn into fat. The end result is that the lack of your body absorbing proper nutrients causes a run-down, low-energy and a greater chance of getting sick~
Both are short-term unhealthy solutions that don't work nor do they change you on permanent basis.
Forget the word diet, its a complete change of lifestyle. What you need to do -- if you are overweight you are eating too many large portions of good - so the first step is too cut back portions.
Secondly, the controversy over sugar and sweets is a total hype. Sugar is just calories that can be burned off with proper
exercise Your base for muscle building is the proper amounts of protein be it soy, chicken, fish, red meat along with adequate vegetables for your base roughage and vitamins. The killer is carbohydrates being any starch from rice, bread, pasta, pizza pastries and the like.
Although you need carbohydrates to give you energy you need them in very small amounts. Any carb that you eat such as rice and pasta absorbs water and expands. This is the result in your digestive system. It expands and stretches out your stomach which gives you the illusion of needing to eat because of hunger pains. Keeping carbs to a minimum will prevent this scenario.
The real culprit is sodium. There is a sodium content in everything. As the result of sodium your body holds excessive amounts of fluid like a woman on her period. It also makes you thirsty makes you want to drink more, holding more fluid and gives you the appearance of a soft, puffy look. Read the labels, keep your sodium as low as possible to prevent this puffy appearance. Your body does need sodium but not as much as is available in almost every food you buy today. Learn to control your sodium and you will see amazing, quick results.
Lastly, don't worry about calories, fats, oils or time of day to eat. Eating this way will also you to enjoy your meals whether they be a dinner salad or a bowl of pasta and not feel guilty having cheesecake or a bowl or ice cream on occasion. Although fruit and fruit juice bars are really the way to go.

YOU SAID IN "PATRICIA'S STORY" ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT YOU
WERE UPSET THAT YOU WAITED SO LONG TO LOSE THE WEIGHT
AND THAT YOU FELT YOU WERE "CHEATING YOURSELF". WHAT
DID YOU MEAN BY THIS?
ANSWER:
I've given this a lot of thought. I've realized that by keeping the weight on that I really have cheated myself out of having a certain level of confidence in my work life and social life; I cheated myself out of being involved in sports because I was always so sluggish and my energy level low and flexibility didn't even exist--- I realized that I felt disconnected to my body and I don't think many overweight people are really aware of this. This is an extremely important point and one that I will explain further below. I cheated myself out of being able to wear so many types of cute, sexy clothes over the years; I missed out on many summer trips to exotic places since I always found a reason not to go which I justified, when I really didn't want to be seen in a bathing suit; I also missed out on dating certain people that were confident when I was insecure about myself and my body; the list goes on.
I truly don't believe people who say they are happy being overweight and try to justify it like I did At some point each overweight person cheats themselves in one of the areas noted above or another. Also, if you are a married and at home mom, with a husband who is always busy, works a lot and you have a few children.... it is easy to keep the weight on and use childbearing or the depression of being left alone to deal with the kids on your own as excuse to keep weight on.
Don't wait like I did, it's time to look at yourself in the mirror, see the damage you've done and get into our program to get rid of the excess baggage. Whatever, your reasons are, let go and get on with it. Once you make the commitment to begin, you will feel relieved that you took the first step.
9. QUESTION:
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY BEING DISCONNECTED FROM YOUR BODY BY KEEPING ON THE EXCESS WEIGHT?
ANSWER:
Let me explain further the feeling of being "disconnected" from my body as I noted above. When I first started to work out I felt as though I was just seeing my arms and legs move around me. Kind of like I saw them moving, but it really wasn't me doing it. But because I was so out of shape I really didn't even feel anything inside them - it felt like I was lifting and/or moving something that wasn't even attached to me. After I committed to working out three times a week, one day a few months later, I remember moving my leg, pointing my toes, and actually feeling that there was a muscle in their. I was so excited that
every time I worked out from then on I purposely tightened my arms and legs to feel the muscles which had been dormant for so long. I finally understood what it meant to "wake up those sleeping muscles". I didn't realize how "asleep" my muscles were until I started to work out and finally feel them. For the first time I felt connected to my body.
Here again I also realized how all those years that past I was cheated by allowing myself to be disconnected to my body with the excess weight and sleeping muscles. It's almost like my entire body was
asleep for all those years... .ever since I was little. Now I feel totally alive and energized feeling every muscle when I work out. You can experience the same using the SteeleBoxer training system.
